Synopsis
In a land that has been ravaged by years of war, one man in the empire retreats to a pleasant town, far from the politics and bloodshed of the front line. He lives a quiet life with his younger sister, and tries his best to take care of her as she grows up. But the veteran mercenary knows nothing else other than how to wield his spear. The guild and the local tavern continue to provide him with odd jobs that he cannot refuse, until a fateful day arrives when he finally receives an undesirable invitation from the emperor himself.

His fame preceded him, and Zemer is once again swept away by the violent affairs of his restless realm. With the desire to keep his family away from certain danger, he returns to the battlefield and brandishes his spear for what he believes is right. Perhaps the mercenary could finally retire with his loved ones, when war is no longer a part of the daily lives for the people of Everice.

And thus with the help of a deadly assassin, whom he unwillingly encounters in his journey, Zemer challenges everything that threatens everyone that he wishes to protect.

Synopsis
When a deep voice calls out to Zecher in the middle of the night, his identity is challenged by his own questionable memory. It seems that his purpose lies elsewhere - away from the comfort of his familiar environment. Not knowing where to go and what to do in a foreign land, the quest of trying to find a way back to his small apartment room begins with the company of a mysterious archer and a lighthearted swordsman.

After an old man surprises him with strange knowledge of his past, curiosity becomes an underlying fuel to dig deeper into the rabbit hole. His past is not as simple as he has thought, and the remnants of his forgotten deeds are slowly finding their ways to greet him one by one.
